Raggedy Christmas
This is the snap I used on my Christmas cards this year. Christmas Annie is holding a little Gingerbread Girl and Boy in front of my Raggedy Ann Christmas Tree. Is there such thing as Raggedy overload???

Merry Christmas to ME!!!
Remember the other day, I told you that Aunt Pitty Pat and I decided to do an ornament swap - just us two? We'll here's what she made for me! Aren't they adorable??? Three little half-eaten Gingerbread people - two boys and a girl. And they smell delicious!!
Look how she trimmed the little red buttons to made them look like peppermint candies!! Precious! I really LOVE them!
Then, just because she is such a SWEETIE - she also made this cute little bear pincushion!! She embroidered a flower on it's front, added two little fluttery butterflies and a silk rosette! Wow! Such fun details! But, I don't think I will be sticking any pins in her - she's too cute!
I put them in these white frames I already had - but, I'm thinking I'm gonna put them in red frames to make them pop!

I received this in the mail also. I ordered this and the next print from Diane of DudaDaze. I love her artwork and just couldn't resist these Christmas pictures!
Is this not the cutest thing? I came across this picture on Flickr and had to have one for my own! It's from Becky of scrumptiousdelight and is called a plush swirly lollipop!!! She makes all kinds of plush fun food!!!
I've got so much sewing to do - can't discuss or show any of it because it's all gifts! No time to eat or sleep!!

Fairy Ornie
My friend, Aunt Pitty Pat, and I decided to do a little ornament swap just for funzies. Here's what I came up with. I got the basic idea from some ornaments that Vanessa painted up. Then, I added her little wings to make her a fairy. You can't really see it, but her wings are made of tiny pink netting.

Lookie What I Got!!
I made my friend Wallie a Raggedy Ann doll and look what she made for me in return!! She crocheted these gorgeous hot pads for my kitchen in my favorite color - PINK!!! Aren't I lucky???
Of course, they are way too pretty to actually use! I might accidently get some food on them! Oh, no!! Instead, I will hang them or sit them in the kitchen to be admired. I can't crochet or knit so I really LOVE getting these kinds of handmade gifts! Thank you Wallie!! I love them!!

Working on Christmas Decorating
I've been having a hard time having any pictures to post the last couple of weeks. I've been working on dolls and ornaments that cannot yet be shown. So, here's some pics of the Christmas decorating I've been doing.
This is the first thing you see just inside the front door of the foyer. Please pay no attention to the items sitting on the stairs waiting for their trip up to my craftroom.

Still in the foyer, these items are sitting on my sideboard.
The most important pieces of my huge nativity set (made by my mother).
My little Santa collection on the mantle over the fireplace.
Finally, the tree in our Greatroom - still a work in progress.
This is my first time using the colors Red & Aqua on the tree.
